From the aircraft to the kerb
A member of staff waits for you at the aircraft gate or jet bridge holding a sign with your name. From there they take you through immigration — using the priority lane wherever the airport has one — collect your bags with you and accompany you through customs.
You leave the terminal together, at the point where your driver or ground transport is waiting. The exact meeting point and each step at your airport are on its airport page.
